The Fond du lac Artists Association, Inc., formed in 1968, is a nonprofit organization with the mission to encourage the creative growth of area artists of all ages, and promote community awareness of local talent in the field of the visual arts.

Art on the Island

Experience Fine Arts including paintings, ceramics, jewelry and sculpture near the shores of Lake Winnebago at Oven Island in beautiful Lakeside Park.
Watch and interact with artists at work. View art exhibits and bid on donated art at the Silent Auction, where proceeds help fund the Fond du Lac Artists' Association High School Art Scholarship program. Create art at our all ages activity pavilion. Enjoy food and music while you acquire fine art from artists from all over the Midwest.

Scholarships

The Fond du Lac Artists Association sponsors two $1500 college scholarships each year for senior high school students who are pursuing a career in a visual art-related field.  The students must be U.S. citizens and residents of Fond du Lac County, Lomira or Waupun.  They may be attending any High School or be home-schooled. 

Application forms may be obtained from High School Guidance Counselors and Art Teachers who receive them by the end of November or may be requested by emailing scholarships@fdlartists.org

The scholarships are underwritten in part by the Harold Berkholtz Foundation which is managed by the Fond du Lac Area Foundation.

Winners will have their work displayed at the annual Art on the Island June 2, 2024.
